SI-PASS around the world
SI-PASS was launched in the 1970s at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in order to increase student throughput in “difficult” courses. The International Centre for SI is based at UMKC. Over the years, SI has spread to over 30 countries. Lund University is one of four national centres around the world along with the University of Guelph (Canada), the University of Wollongong (Australia) and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (South Africa). As a concept, SI-PASS has had a considerable impact and is established at more than 1 500 higher education institutions in over 30 countries.
