The European Centre for SI-PASS is delighted to open registrations for the first SI-PASS Festival: Navigating the unknown territory together

We were pleased to have interest expressed from a range of institutions across Sweden, Norway, Ireland, UK and Belgium for this event. Based on expressions of interest we anticipate more than 50 SI-PASS/PAL Leaders to attend. Below you will find the necessary information to quickly book places for your Leaders whilst you finalise the names of those who will attend.

To secure your places, please complete our online form by November 6th:  To the booking form

Key details

Live and asynchronous activities will be available for Leaders from the European Centre during the Festival Week (22nd – 26th November) alongside any complementary activity in your own institution, for which ideas will be provided (see below for more detailed information: Festival activity).

The festival will be a place for Leaders to come together to share practice, network, learn from and inspire each other in these new times.

Leaders have the option to contribute to ‘show and tell’ 5min practice-sharing sessions and/or 20min presentations (pre-recorded option available). This is not a requirement of the Festival attendance but has become a valued part of previous Leader Conferences to which Leaders enjoy contributing and listening.

Whilst this is a Leader focused event and we are working in partnership with Supervisors in the event delivery/engage in some aspects. Supervisors of participating institutions will be invited to a pre-Festival event to understand the Festival journey.

Registration has two steps

  1. Book the number of places required for your Leaders, ideally by 6th November
  2. Confirm names / email addresses of Leaders, ideally by 13th November by email to: SI-PASS [at] stu [dot] lu [dot] se. NB: Registration will remain open until 18th November but Leaders may not receive their delegate pack prior to the Festival opening if the names/email addresses are confirmed later than Nov 13th.

Costs are set to make the event as accessible as possible:

  • 875 SEK Swedish per Leader (Approx £75 GBP)
  • 8100 SEK Swedish for 10 Leaders (Approx £700 GBP)
  • 13800 SEK for 20 Leaders (Approx £1200 GBP)

Additional activity information

Leaders who attend the European Centre Festival will be offered:

  • Physical festival pack delivered to the delegate’s personal address
  • Sunday evening kick-off event
  • Themed days including: An evening ‘headliner (keynote talks/workshops) to spark and challenge current thinking and practice. A selection of sessions to attend each day. Contribution to Leader parallel sessions to share good practice and learn from others
  • Each Leader to also be allocated to a small facilitated group (with a mix of Institutions) to share experiences and work on tasks/fun challenges throughout the week in which there will be outputs generated to share with all attendees and the Leaders own Institutions.
  • A celebratory event at the end of the week (opened up to a larger group of Leaders/non-conference attendees from Institutions who have delegates attending)
  • Opportunity to continue collaborations beyond the Festival informing the development of SI-PASS across institutions

We’d encourage you to book your places and start this exciting Festival journey with your Leaders and the European Centre as soon as possible.
